The new flagship store of Galleria YMRM in Sengkurong aims to create a comfortable atmosphere for the customers with various amenities provided for visitors.

Hitesh Ramesh J Bhawnani, the Managing Director of YMRM, explains that the company strives to give the best service to their customers. “We have prepared a lounge, massage chairs and have created a separate area for men and women to help make visitors feel more relaxed when shopping,” he said.

Similar to their other branches, the new store caters to textile enthusiasts with an abundance of choices. Other than that, they also introduced two new sections called All About Him and All About Her, which are dedicated spaces for men and women, showcasing various textile selections and ready-to-wear clothes made specifically for men and women.

A crowd gathered yesterday to celebrate the launch of the new flagship store of Galleria YMRM at Sengkurong. The guest of honour for the event was Dayang Rostinah binti Pehin Orang Kaya Sura Seri Pahlawan Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Tahir, Acting Director for the Department of Community Development.

Among the invited guests were about 53 students from Pusat Bahagia. For the students, just being part of the event is a new and exciting experience thus enabling them to see things that otherwise would not be able to learn in class.

We spoke to the Awang Mohammad Nasrullah El-Hakiem bin Haji Mohammad, the Principal of Pusat Bahagia, who praised the company for being an advocate for the students in Pusat Bahagia.

“YMRM has always been a huge supporter of Pusat Bahagia, from the students’ welfare to their future careers, so today we were invited to be part of the event by the Chairman himself, we can see the two sides work together in helping the students to be involved with the community by being part of the occasion,” said Awang Mohammad Nasrullah.

He added that the students were excited to attend the event and be the first few to experience the new store. “The opportunity has opened their minds and enticed them to be involved in the textile industry, seeing that Pusat Bahagia provides sewing lessons, among other skill-sharing,” he exclaimed.

The latest branch is now open to the public from 10am to 10pm.
