Towards the end of Ramadhan, the whole country is in preparation mode with tailors working twice as hard to complete customers’ garments and shops adjusting their hours to cater to last minute visits in anticipation to Hari Raya festivities. One of the more prominent Raya sales event is Letop Lebaran, managed by Battle Pro Marketing and Management.

“Letop Lebaran is basically a platform where we gather more than a hundred brands under one roof for the ease of the consumers,” said Hj Syed Mohd Yassin Hj Syed Anayatullah Shah, Founder of Battle Pro Marketing and Management.

Letop Lebaran was held last weekend at the International Convention Centre (ICC) and has attracted thousands of visitors to get their needs. The event is in its fourth year since they started in 2016, and have consistently attracted over 60,000 visitors every year.

Over the years, the event has seen some changes as the occasion became bigger such as the lucky draw prizes and for this year is the inclusion of free photoshoot and a reading corner for children. Syed Yassin mentioned that with the addition of the photoshoot and reading corner has helped them to attract more people to the event.

Other than that, people who shopped at the event were given a chance to win some attractive lucky draw prizes such as the Umrah Packages and a car, which further helped boost the number of people that came to the event.

Over 80 percent of the vendors consisted of local entrepreneurs, so one of the other aims of Letop Lebaran is to help them market and promote their products to the public.

“One of the reasons why we joined Letop Lebaran this year is that the event itself always attracts a lot of visitors each year and this has helped local shops gain exposure. For an online shop like us, the consumers were able to have a first-hand feel of the products, which helps with their eventual purchases,” said Amal Jehan of Porterabia.

As Letop Lebaran is one of their main events every year, Battle Pro Marketing and Management will be hoping that they will be able to hold more events like this in the future.

“Other than continuing to hold this event in Brunei every year, we will want to be able to create Letop Lebaran outside of Brunei, which is one of the goals for Battle Pro in the future,” mentioned Syed Yassin.
