The quiet village of Jerudong is home to many interesting places in Brunei such as the popular Jerudong Park Playground and the Jerudong Fish Market. It may take about two days to visit the places itself. We at Sutera, will guide you to locations in Jerudong.
9AM – Drive from Bandar Seri Begawan to Jerudong takes about 25 minutes, the first thing you may want to do is to get your breakfast at Amanah Harith restaurant near the market, which serves delicious authentic Malaysian and Singapore cuisine.
10AM – After enjoying your breakfast, you can visit the Jerudong Fish Market. It is one of the best place to visit and even for buying fresh fish caught from the ocean. The market is open from 6am to 6pm and one of the biggest fish market in Brunei.
12PM – After visiting the Fish Market, you can visit the Al-Ameerah Mosque in Jerudong for your prayer and even take pictures of the unique mosque.
1PM – It is time to get your lunch at a restaurant in Jerudong, we personally picked Neptune restaurant which is located near the Jerudong Beach. It is locally known for its seafood cuisine and diners can enjoy fresh marine animals caught from the ocean.
2PM – People can check out the horses and the over 25 year old female elephant near the Tarindak D’ Polo. Visitors can also enjoy the view of the ocean near the beach and also grab some fritters at the nearby restaurant.
4PM – After checking out the horses at Polo club, you can head over to the Empire Hotel and Country Club, and learn about the unique design of the building and also checkout the magnificent sunset at the beach near the Empire Hotel and Country Club.
7PM – You may head over to the Jerudong Park and play! There are various new rides introduced at the phase 1 and phase 2 of the park. The Tickets are priced at $2 for entrance, $15 including the rides for adults and $10 for children. The park is open from 4pm to 11 pm on Thursday to Sunday.
9PM – After a fun night at the park, visitors can grab a bite at the famous Jerudong Food court. The open area is famous for its satay and various types of skewers. The food court is also home to various type of dishes from malay to western food, so there is a lot to choose from!
